How is Turkish taught at YUTOM?
Istanbul Yeni Yuzyil University Turkish Teaching Practice and Research Center (YUTOM) aims for participants to acquire Turkish knowledge and skills to meet their needs by combining both theoretical and practical training.
YUTOM aims for students to learn about Turkish culture as a means of promoting intercultural communication. Trips to the Bosphorus, museums and major historical sites are organised, while films and concerts also focus on vital elements of Turkish culture.
In YUTOM, courses are organised annually in three semesters. Starting dates for the courses are announced in advance and registration begins one month before classes start.
Who can learn Turkish at YUTOM?
In YÜTOM, Turkish Language Training is given not only to students who come to Turkey to attend university but also to people from all occupational groups, ages and language levels.
